Ernest Lowe prides itself on having a large honing facility in South Africa and a comprehensive workshop, which caters for any hydraulic or pneumatic engineering requirements.
Our cylinder range is probably the largest on the continent of Africa and includes positioner, rodless, VDMA and ISO cylinders. Our local product lines enable us to make cylinders to any bore size and virtually any stroke length you may require. We can also manufacture specialised cylinders to your specification, as well as intensifiers and cylinders for other unusual applications. We have manufactured the pneumatic cylinder range in South Africa since the mid fifties.
HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS
At our Head Office Manufacturing facility in Boksburg Ernest Lowe manufacture the standard ISO Range of 21 MPa and 25 MPa Hydraulic Cylinders as well as designing and manufacturing "Special" or "Customer Specific" Cylinders to end user requirements.
The manufacture of all hydraulic cylinder components (excluding chroming which is carried out by ISO 9001-2000 approved sub contractors) is done in-house. Ernest Lowe has some of the largest Honing facilities found in the country.
Ernest Lowe can manufacture Hydraulic Cylinders up to 900mm diameter bore and 1000mm stroke with mountings, as per customer requirements.
